DOF Robotics increases revenue by 74% in the first quarter of 2026

DOF Robotics, one of the world’s leading companies in robotic systems, immersive education and entertainment technologies, motion simulators, game and content development, and image interpretation software, announced its first quarter 2026 financial results. The company continued its growth in the first three months of the year.

DOF Robotics, which exports to more than 60 countries across 6 continents worldwide and runs joint projects with giants such as Marvel Studios, Rovio’s Angry Birds brand, Monster Jam under Feld Entertainment, Universal Studios, Transformers, and Smurfs, increased its revenue by 74% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year, raising it to 197.9 million TL. Gross profit increased by 81.8% to 134.4 million TL. During the same period, the company’s total assets reached 3.43 billion TL, while equity increased by 3.7% to 2.14 billion TL.

Looking at DOF Robotics’ financial data from previous periods, it is evident that seasonality plays an important role in revenue and profitability data. While expenses are prominent in first quarter data, the conversion of these expenses into revenue occurs in the last quarter. The global fundamental characteristic of the sector remains valid for DOF Robotics as well.

DOF Robotics Board Chairman Mustafa Mertcan made the following assessment regarding the first quarter 2026 results: “In the first quarter of 2026, as DOF Robotics, we continued to strengthen our operations with our high value-added products and R&D-focused approach while sustaining our growth in global markets. While increasing our effectiveness in export markets, particularly in the United States and Europe, we resolutely continued our investments in simulation, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems based on advanced technology. Our next-generation products and software solutions developed within the scope of our R&D activities have been important steps supporting our company’s global competitiveness. While evaluating new investment opportunities in line with our strategic growth objectives, we continued our work on projects with high long-term value creation potential.”

New structuring in China and Australia

Stating that they continue to invest to strengthen their international structure, Mertcan said: “As of the first quarter, we completed the establishment processes of our affiliated companies we planned in the People’s Republic of China and Australia. We believe that these steps will create new collaborations and growth opportunities by increasing our effectiveness in global markets.”

“We will make Turkey one of the important centers of technology and innovation tourism”

Announcing that they aim to generate $600 million in revenue over the next 10 years through operations projects, Mertcan said that NeoCappadocia is positioned as the first and most important step of this strategy. Mertcan stated: “We designed NeoCappadocia to serve 12 months a year and expect it to host more than 500,000 guests annually. This project will feature Fly Over Cappadocia/Turkey-themed flying theatre, a balloon simulator, a fully themed restaurant, a boutique themed hotel consisting of concept rooms, and live show experiences where technology, aesthetics, and storytelling converge.”

Stating that they aim to carry projects similar to NeoCappadocia to different cities in Turkey, Mertcan said: “In the Flying Theater project we are planning in Istanbul Beyoğlu, we will undertake all installation and investment processes as DOF Robotics. In addition, with the Flying Theater investment we plan to implement in Antalya city center, we aim to bring a new experience area to the city’s tourism and entertainment ecosystem.” Emphasizing that the new-generation experience economy brand Neo Planet is one of the important components of the international growth strategy, Mertcan said: “We plan to expand the Neo Planet concept, which brings technology together with play and interactive experience, with new centers in different countries. Our goal is to make Turkey one of the important centers of technology and innovation tourism.”
