DOF Robotics, which exports to more than 60 countries across 6 continents worldwide and runs joint projects with giants such as Marvel Studios, Rovio’s Angry Birds brand, Monster Jam under Feld Entertainment, Universal Studios, Transformers, and Smurfs, held its investor presentation in Amsterdam with the participation of financial stakeholders. While DOF Robotics’ current performance, global vision, and strategic investments in the experience economy were shared in detail, the company’s revenue target of over $600 million in the next 10 years through its operations projects and the NeoCappadocia project, positioned as the first step of this strategy, were among the highlights.
DOF Robotics, one of the world’s leading companies in robotic systems, immersive education and entertainment technologies, motion simulators, game and content development, and image interpretation software, met with leading representatives of domestic and foreign financial markets at Investor Meeting 2026 held in Amsterdam on March 27-28, 2026. At the meeting, which attracted interest from brokerage firms, portfolio management companies, and analysts, the company’s achievements to date and future goals were shared.
DOF Robotics Board Chairman Mustafa Mertcan shared his comprehensive presentation titled “Experience Economy: Theme Parks and the Entertainment Industry” with participants, along with the company’s year-end 2025 financial evaluation. Mertcan emphasized that the transformation in entertainment technologies and robotic systems is at the center of the company’s growth strategy.
“Entertainment technologies are an industry worth over $100 billion”
Emphasizing that the field they operate in is rapidly growing on a global scale, Mertcan said: “Entertainment technologies have now reached a size of over $100 billion. Increasing tourism mobility, the rise of the experience economy, and cities’ need to create attraction centers support this growth. Theme park and experience-focused investments create a broad economic impact from employment to tourism, in addition to entertainment.”
Addressing analyses made through leading destinations such as Orlando, Paris, and Japan, Mertcan continued as follows:
“According to 2023 data, the number of visitors to the world’s top 10 theme parks exceeded 512 million, while the annual increase occurred at the level of 30%. In the Asia-Pacific region, this increase reached 78%, rising to a level of 146 million visitors. This picture clearly shows that the entertainment and experience economy now occupies an important place in countries’ growth strategies. In addition to entertainment, theme park investments also serve as a strategic lever for countries in terms of employment, tourism revenues, and tax contribution.”
Also mentioning Turkey’s position in this field, Mertcan said: “Turkey ranks in the top 10 in the world in entertainment technology exports. As DOF Robotics, we also have a strong position in this field with our high export rate. We aim to gain a larger share from this growth with our simulator technologies and digital theme park projects.”
$600 million revenue target in 10 years with pioneering projects like NeoCappadocia
Also mentioning DOF Robotics’ investment plans, Mertcan announced that they aim to generate $600 million in revenue over the next 10 years through operations projects. Emphasizing that NeoCappadocia is positioned as the first and most important step of this strategy, Mertcan said: “We designed NeoCappadocia to serve 12 months a year and expect it to host more than 500,000 guests annually. This project will feature Fly Over Cappadocia/Turkey-themed flying theatre, a balloon simulator, a fully themed restaurant, a boutique themed hotel consisting of concept rooms, and live show experiences where technology, aesthetics, and storytelling converge. We aim to bring the Flying Theater concept to life in different cities in Turkey, similar to NeoCappadocia. In the Flying Theater project we are planning in Istanbul Beyoğlu, we will undertake all installation and investment processes as DOF Robotics. In addition, with the Flying Theater investment we are planning to implement in Antalya city center, we aim to bring a new experience area to the city’s tourism and entertainment ecosystem. On the other hand, we aim to grow our new-generation brand Neo Planet, which we developed for the experience economy, on an international scale. We plan to expand this concept, which brings technology together with play and interactive experience, with new centers in different countries. Our goal is to make Turkey one of the important centers of technology and innovation tourism.” The project, designed as the first comprehensive entertainment center in the Cappadocia region, was also greeted with great interest by participants at the investor meeting due to its contribution to tourism and investment return potential.
In the final part of the presentation, Mustafa Mertcan shared DOF Robotics’ multi-city global growth strategy and long-term goals. Noting that the company continues to grow by expanding its collaborations with international theme parks and global brands, Mertcan stated that they aim to create sustainable value through technology investments and a scalable business model.
Jonathan Dickson, OTC VP & Head of EMEA, who participated in the event as a guest speaker, contributed to the meeting with his assessments on the sector. Dickson drew attention to the increasing importance of the experience economy on a global scale and stated that investments in this area will accelerate even further in the coming period.
