This year, the industry gathering that is held worldwide by Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) took place in Istanbul for the first time. In the event hosted by the global entertainment technologies company DOF Robotics, local and international industry professionals in the fields of entertainment technology and the experience economy gathered together.
DOF Robotics, which is rapidly advancing toward its goal of “global growth” by exporting to more than 60 countries across six continents in the field of entertainment technology, hosted the Istanbul edition of TEA Tuesday, an industry gathering organized by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). The event, which took place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, marked an important gathering as the first TEA Tuesday event held in Türkiye.
TEA Tuesday events bring together professionals working in the fields of theme parks, entertainment centers, experience design, and immersive technologies across cities around the world; they aim to increase knowledge sharing among industry representatives, foster collaborations, and enhance networking opportunities. The event, which has previously been held in cities such as Paris, London Amsterdam, and Dubai, took place in Istanbul for the first time this year.
Hosted by Şöhret Pakiş and Bakıt Baydaliev, CEO of DOF Robotics, the event that brought together local and international industry professionals offered participants the opportunity to experience the latest developments and emerging trends in entertainment technology, exchange views on the future of the industry, and explore new collaboration opportunities.
Türkiye has significant potential in the field of entertainment technologies
Commenting on the event, DOF Robotics CEO Bakıt Baydaliev highlighted Türkiye’s growing potential in the field of entertainment technologies and said:
“Türkiye is becoming an increasingly prominent and influential center in the field of entertainment technology. The fact that TEA Tuesday is being held in Istanbul for the first time is a great indicator of our country’s strength and potential in this sector too. As a company that exports technology to the U.S. and China, we are delighted and proud to host such an important event. The entertainment technology sector is no longer limited to only theme parks; thanks to immersive experiences, interactive technologies, and digital content, it is evolving into a much broader ecosystem. We view Istanbul’s inclusion in this global network as a significant development for our industry. We believe this event will make a major contribution to fostering new partnerships and enhancing our country’s visibility on the international stage.”
